• "The Story of My Life" was written in 1902 by Helen Keller and is an autobiographical story of her life experiences. Helen Keller was a notable author, lecturer and political activist who was born both deaf and blind. It covers her life from childhood to adulthood and relates the account of how her teacher Anne Sullivan brought language into her solitary world. This story can inspire children to believe that anything is possible as long as they are willing to work for it. Adults can read this story to younger children or give it to older children to read for themselves.
