How to Find Books on My Lexile Level

A person's Lexile Measure is a measure of his reading ability; a book's Lexile Measure indicates its difficulty. Students commonly receive Lexile scores when they take reading tests at the end of an academic year. This score can help a student choose books for entertainment or to hone their reading skills. You can find books that match your, or your child's, Lexile Measure through online research.

    • 1

Go to the MetaMetrics website and click "Search for books at your Lexile level."

    • 2

Enter your Lexile Measure or a range in the boxes provided, and click Continue.

    • 3
