How to Locate a Barnes & Noble

Barnes &Noble (B&N) is the largest book retailer in the United States. The company is headquartered on Fifth Avenue in Lower Manhattan. As of 2010 there were 1,357 stores that spanned all 50 states. Inside most Barnes &Noble locations are cafes that serve Starbucks Coffee exclusively. In the beginning of August 2010 the company said that it was considering selling itself to an investor group. Because there are so many Barnes &Noble locations, finding one is very easy.

  Visit Barnes &Noble's official website. (See Resources)

  Click on the "Stores &Events" link at the top of the home page.

  Scroll to the bottom of the page. Under the "Find A Store" tab, type in the city and state you want to find a store in, or just type in the zip code of the area you are looking for a store in.

  Hit the search Button. A list of stores near in the city or zip code that you listed will come on to the screen. Under each store you will see the address, phone number and hours of operation.
