Things You'll Need
Instructions
Remove the headboard from the rest of the frame, using a screwdriver. The headboard is held on by brackets or screws.
Lay out several pieces of newspaper onto the floor in a well-ventilated area, such as a driveway or a work space with several windows.
Wipe off any dust or debris from the headboard with a soft rag. This will help the paint adhere more effectively to the brass.
Spray the entire headboard with a can of spray paint. The paint can be any color. Cover the entire area, including the nooks and crannies.
Flip the headboard over and paint the remaining unfinished area. Allow the headboard to dry. Depending upon the weather, this could take several hours or days.
Reattach the headboard to the bed frame, using the screwdriver.
