How to Score All the Balls at Once on a Pool Table

There is no record of anyone scoring all the balls in one shot during a standard game of pool. If there were a foolproof method it surely would have been employed by great players such as Minnesota Fats or Willie Hoppe. However, in the fantasy world of movies, anything is possible. Nowadays, the stunt of clearing a pool table in one shot is usually done with a trick table and magnets or invisible wires pulling the balls into the pockets. In 1924, though, comedian Buster Keaton eschewed a rigged table and showed off his prowess with a pool cue in the silent comedy "Sherlock Jr." His methods were revealed in the early 1950s by gagman/writer/director Clyde Bruckman.
