How to Make a Bubble Knit Stitch

The bubble knit stitch, also known as the puff knit stitch, is really a cluster of half-double crochet stitches worked within the same stitch. This stitch is not to be confused with the raspberry stitch, which is also a cluster stitch or the bobble stitch, which mostly cups, rather than bubbling. The bubble knit stitch was popular in the 1960s and faded away a bit after the 1970s. Its popularity is making a comeback in the crochet world, as it is an easy and attractive stitch for beginners and accomplished crochet hobbyists alike.
