Instructions
Insert a bobbin into the bobbin case with approximately 3 inches of thread protruding from the case. Place the case onto the center stud in the bobbin compartment. Snap in place.
Turn the hand wheel on the right side of the machine until the thread take up lever on the right side of the machine is at its highest position.
Place your spool of thread onto the spool pin.
Pull the thread from the spool towards the left of the machine and insert into the guide on the left side of the machine. The guide is a small metal strip just to the right of the thread take up lever.
Pull the thread down behind the thread guide bar then onto the right side, around the bottom and back up the left side of the tension wheel. The thread will catch between the tension disks behind the wheel.
Pull the thread towards the top of the machine and through the take up spring on the upper left of the tension wheel.
Continue pulling up and insert into the thread take up lever from right to left.
Bring the thread back down towards the needle housing and through the two thread guides below the take up lever from top to bottom.
Insert the thread into the needle clamp located just above the needle and then thread the thread through the needle from left to right.
Pull approximately 6 inches of thread towards the back of the machine.
Turn the hand wheel until the needle has moved completely down and back up, bringing with it the bobbin thread.
Pull the bobbin thread towards the back of the machine until approximately 6 inches is hanging free along with the needle thread. Your machine is now ready to sew.
