Instructions

    • 1

Cut a 50-inch-long strip of tulle, three times as wide as you want the bow to be.

    • 2

Cut a 4-inch square of tulle and fold it in half twice to make a 1-inch wide strip. Pin the folds in place. Thread a needle with 22 inches of thread and knot the ends together.

    • 3

Lay the large strip of tulle on a table with a short side closest to you.

    • 4

Gather the tulle together by pulling the tulle toward you until you have gathered it into a 3-inch band of tulle that is three times as long as you want the bow to be.

    • 5

Fold the band of tulle into thirds by bringing the side ends toward the middle and overlapping them. The folds on each side are the loops of the bow.

    • 6

Remove the pins from the 1-inch strip of tulle and wrap it around the center of the bow. Wrap it tightly enough to pull the tulle into a bow shape. Sew the strip together where it overlaps and cut off any excess tulle.

    • 7

Hot glue the bow to a barrette or a hair clip.
