Things You'll Need
Instructions
Wash and dry your wool fabric as you would normally. This shrinks the fabric.
Cut a long rectangle of wool fabric that between 4 and 6 feet wide and between 7 and 10 feet long. Togas were enormous lengths of cloth, and draping them was often a task reserved for slaves trained in the process.
Pin the edges of the fabric by turning down the raw edges twice, creating folds that are 1/4 inch deep both times, and securing them with a pin. This creates the hem.
Sew the hems flat, removing the pins as you go. This gives your toga a finished edge. At this point, the toga is ready to be worn.
