Cut two pieces of fabric that are each 24 inches long and 18 inches wide. Lay them directly on top of each other, right sides of the fabric facing together.

Pin the fabric together every 2 inches all along the edges. Sew the edges together, taking out the pins as you go. Leave a 2-inch opening in the seam.

Turn the burp cloth right side out and iron it flat. Hand sew the 2-inch opening closed.
