Instructions
Perform a shrink test with the charmeuse fabric when combining it with another fabric selection. Choose two fabrics that have similar properties, including how well they wash and wear together.
Pin the charmeuse fabric to tissue paper and weight the sides to prevent slippage while cutting. Additionally, ensure that any tool you use to cut the charmeuse is sharp enough to cut through the fabric on the first try.
Fasten the charmeuse fabric to other fabric pieces using straight pins. Using polyester thread and a new needle, sew the pieces together using a straight stitch. Make sure that your sewing machine is clean to prevent any oil or lint from ruining the charmeuse.
