Things You'll Need
Instructions
Inflate a balloon, leaving approximately 1-1/2 inches of deflated balloon at the end of the inflated section.
Release the end of the balloon slightly, then pinch tight again, allowing just a short burst of air out. This helps keep the balloon flexible and prevents it from breaking.
Tie a knot at the bottom of the balloon to seal the balloon.
Bend the end of the balloon down to the knot and tie the deflated tip around the knot, forming a ring.
Press the sides of the balloon down so it flattens into two straight sections with a crease directly opposite the knot, then pinch the crease and twist multiple times, dividing the balloon into two sections.
Tie two more identical balloons.
Bend the pinch in one balloon down so it aligns over the knot, creating two pairs of tubes, then twist both pairs of tubes around each other to create a figure-eight shape. Repeat for a second balloon, but not the third.
Fold both figure-eights down into two adjacent rings, then pass one set of rings through the other so they're perpendicular. Consider the balloon on the outside of the group to be "Balloon B," and the balloon through the middle of the rings to be "Balloon A."
Hold the remaining balloon so the two sections are parallel and thread both tubes through one side of "Balloon A," over one side of "Balloon B," back under the remaining side of "Balloon A," then over the remaining side of "Balloon B." Each balloon will be woven over one of the other balloons and through the other.
Twist the knot and the deflated section of the third balloon around each other and the ends of the tubes to secure the balloon.
Adjust the alignment of the balloons so the bent and pinched section of each balloon is hidden by the balloon it passes through.
