Instructions
Slowly start to circle, while traveling backwards and inverted. Move your rudder to drop the tail slightly toward the direction of the circle.
Practice performing clockwise circles in this rearward inverted manner. Use your aileron and rudder controls to adjust the size of your circles.
Master this rearward inverted circling, then increase the rudder angle to move your tail closer to the circle's center.
Raise your helicopter's nose, pointing it toward the circle's center to give the impression that it is standing on its tail. Increase negative pitch on your controller to keep the helicopter from falling, while simultaneously reducing the rudder angle.
Adjust your aileron control to control the size of your circle. Giving less aileron will increase the size, and more aileron will shrink the circle.
Increase your pitch controller to add speed to your travel around the circle.
Keep the tail pointing up and down during the maneuver to keep it rotating around the circle.
