How to Save Movies with Netflix

If you are a Netflix subscriber, you know the joy of an endless supply of movies available at the click of a button. Netflix offers movies via video streaming and DVD discs via mail. Depending on your account level, you can have one to four DVDs or discs out at one time and watch unlimited streaming videos for one monthly fee. A Blu-ray option is available for an extra charge. Most movies are available by clicking "Add" for DVDs or "Play" for video streaming, however, movies which are not out on DVD yet, or movies without a definite release date, offer a "Save" option.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on your computer and log on to the Internet.

    • 2

Go to the Netflix website at "netflix.com."

    • 3

Log into your account using your e-mail address and password.

    • 4

Browse the movies to select the one you want. If you select one which has "Save" rather than "Add" or "Play," click the "Save" button. This will save the unreleased movie to your account. Once the movie is released on DVD, the system will place it at the bottom of your Queue. You then have the option to place it where you want it in the list of movies you are waiting for.

    • 5

Click "Your Queue." Scroll down to the bottom section to "Saved DVDs." This will show you a list of the movies you have saved. You have the option to remove them from your saved list at this point.
