How to Trim an RC Helicopter

An exciting way to enjoy the world of RC flying is to use an RC helicopter. It's vital to correctly fine-tune the trim of the helicopter. This must be completed prior to flying the helicopter. When the trim process is finished, you can securely fly your RC helicopter.

      Switch on the remote control. Put the helicopter on the ground. Make sure that it's placed in an open space. Start the helicopter.

      Lift the controller's throttle trigger. Do this until the helicopter rises from the ground. Don't let it rise to high. Just let it go along the ground's surface.

      Gauge the helicopter's direction. Watch to see which way it's moving. Now slowly alter the helicopter's trim. The trim adjustment is a slider that can be found underneath the controller's joystick. Trim adjustments must be done gradually.
