      Find a river bank out of the sun where the water is deep and slow-moving.

      Lie down on the bank and put your arms into the river up to about the biceps.

      Be patient and wait for a fish to come by.

      Wiggle your index finger like a worm to attract the fish.

      Once a fish is within reach, quickly get your fingers under its gills. Or, in one fast motion, cup your hand under the fish and throw it up onto the bank.
