Things You'll Need
Instructions
Set up a trough or bucket in the area where you would like for deer to feed. It's usually best to choose a spot away from a garden area, in order to keep deer from grazing on your flowers or vegetables. Also, select a location that has natural cover, if possible, since deer prefer not to graze out in the open.
Pour a serving of grain or deer feed into the bottom of the bucket or trough.
Cut five or six apples into quarters. It's not necessary to avoid the cores.
Toss the apple quarters into the trough and mix them in with the feed. The alluringly sweet smell of the apples will attract deer toward the feeding area.
