Instructions

    • 1

Lie down on the sand and have a friend cover you with one or more beach towels.

    • 2

Have your friend add sand to the ends of the towels to keep them from blowing around.

    • 3

Ask your friend to put food on top of the towels.

    • 4

Wait for the injured seagull to walk on top of the towels to get the food. Seagulls are scavengers, so this won't take long. Just about any sort of food item will work.

    • 5

Sit up quickly and wrap the towel around the seagull once you feel it walking across the middle of the towel. With your friend's help, put the towel (with the bird inside) into the crate and close the lid.

    • 6

Drop the towel over the bird if it is immobile on the ground. The bird may calm down under the towel.
