How to Transport Skunks in Arizona

In the state of Arizona you cannot own a skunk, and you cannot get a permit to keep a skunk. If you are new to the state you may obtain a temporary holding permit, but it is only good for 72 hours, after that you have to get rid of the skunk. Occasionally, skunks will take residence in your yard and may become bothersome. Do not take it upon yourself to transport these animals on your own unless authorized by the Arizona Game and Fish Department.
