How to Make a Homemade Duck Call

A duck call is a small reed instrument used to attract ducks. It produces a loud "honking" sound similar to the call of a duck. Sometimes children enjoy using duck calls as toys. It's simple to make a basic duck call and it can be done with materials you probably have around the house. Don't expect to catch any ducks, though. Making more accurate duck calls requires access to expensive woodworking equipment and an experienced ear.
