Instructions

    • 1

Plant a food plot of forage species that deer enjoy grazing on. These plants include orchard grass, red clover and chicory. Situate it away from public roads, gardens and any plants that you do not want the deer to feed on.

    • 2

Set up a salt block. If you simply want to view the deer, position the salt block a fair distance from your house. Put the salt block directly in your hunting area if you are attracting them for that purpose.

    • 3

Scatter deer feed such as dried corn or acorns around the area of your property that you would like to attract more deer to.

    • 4

Apply "doe scent," a scent designed to attract bucks, on trees or leaves. Doe scent can be purchased from hunting specialty stores and should not be applied to the body.
