How to Help Feed Baby Tigers

Zoos and wildlife sanctuaries around the United States and World offer programs that enable guests to help feed baby tigers for a hefty fee. These programs are used to raise funds for endangered animals, educate the public about these animals and train interested youth in animal care. In some instances, they are also run for profit. In addition to feeding baby tigers, some programs allow the feeding of baby bears, baby lions and adult wild animals such as giraffes.

  Locate the nearest big cat sanctuaries, rescue centers or zoos in your geographic location. Record locations and distance.

  Contact programs within the area you are willing to travel. Call the special events or promotion line and ask specifically for the correct person to talk with in order to feed a baby tiger.

  Ask the representative if they have any programs where individuals may feed a baby tiger or have close contact with one. Ask if they have group programs, safari's, internships or fundraisers coming up which allows for closer contact. If they do not allow this, ask if they know of any local centers which do. If they do allow this opportunity, record the price, description of the program and date available next to the name.
