Things You'll Need
Instructions
Put bait into the area where the pigeons are gathering. Leave it there for a few days while the pigeons get used to it and feed there regularly. The pigeons will become accustomed to feeding there, so you won't need to trap them inside right away. Put the trap on top of the bait and leave the door open. Close the door once the pigeons are inside. Leave water and food for the pigeons when you transport them to the wild.
Put up stainless wire mesh, screening or bird netting to deter pigeons from their regular roosting area. The pigeons will likely move on if they can't roost around your property. You can hang the screen from the pigeon's roosting area.
Put bird strips along a roosting area. The metal spikes will poke the birds if they try to land. Give it some time with these. The pigeons can still fly over them, but within a couple months, they will want somewhere that doesn't have metal spikes that they have to fly over.
Use a bird scarer. Sound the bird alarm whenever the birds are around to try and scare them off.
