  Collect shed antlers in a legal fashion. As of 2010, there is no set shed hunting season in the state of Mississippi. However, other states, such as Wyoming, have regulated shed hunting seasons. While collecting sheds outside of the state for sale in Mississippi, check with the outside state's department of fish and game to learn the regulations regarding the collection and transportation of sheds across state lines.

  Apply for a Sales Tax Permit from the Mississippi Department of Revenue using Form 70-001 for each location from which shed antlers will be sold. Selling shed antlers in Mississippi will require the seller to track income and make sales tax payments to the Department of Revenue in order to maintain tax compliance.

  Create a website or storefront to display the shed antlers for sale. Label each set of antlers as to its geographic origin and type. Price each set of antlers accordingly and begin selling to buyers once you have received an approved Sales Tax Permit from the Mississippi Department of Revenue.

  Track income using a bookkeeping system or software and make sales tax payments to the Department of Revenue in accordance with the terms of your Sales Tax Permit.
