How to Measure the Length of an English Girth

Horseback riding is serious business. Not knowing what you're doing can be dangerous both for a horse and rider. Owning and using proper riding equipment is key to better and safer rides. English saddle girths are no different. Buying a properly sized saddle is healthy for your horse and ensures that you will have a safer ride. English saddle girths come in many sizes that can confuse a novice. Buying the wrong size girth can make a saddle all but unwearable for a horse. For riders looking to invest in an English saddle girth, sound measurement will lead to a smart purchase that makes both rider and steed happy.
