Venus Sign Tables
Check the "Venus Sign Tables" at the website Café Astrology (see Resources). It gives a list of the times and dates when Venus changes signs from 1930 to 2013. For example, it will list "Mar 2, 1982 6:25 AM Venus enters Aquarius" and the next entry is "Apr 6, 1982 7:20 AM Venus enters Pisces." If you were born at any time from 6: 25 a.m. on March 2 until April 6 at 7:19 a.m., your Venus is in Aquarius. If you were born from 7:20 a.m. on April 6 until the next entry date and time, your Venus is in Pisces.
Convert the time of your birth to Eastern Standard Time if you were born in another time zone.
Note the two possible Venus signs if you don't know the time you were born. Read a description of Venus in both signs to see which one of them "fits" you best (see Resources).
Natal Horoscope
Go to the website Astrodienst for a free natal horoscope that will include your Venus sign (see Resources).
Check the left sidebar under the last entry, "Sitemap." In the light blue box below that entry, there are instructions to enter your birth data. Select "Please Click Here." This will take you to a page to fill in your birth data.
Fill in the Birth Entry Data, consisting of name, gender, year, day, time and place of birth. If you don't know your time of birth, select "unknown" from the drop-down menu. Hit the "Continue" button.
Click on the "Chart Drawing, Ascendant" on the "Free Horoscopes at Astrodienst" page. This will give you a drawing of your horoscope along with a list of the placement of all of the planets and their aspects. Venus will be listed along with the abbreviated sign and the degree, minutes and seconds. For example, Venus 10 Sag 30' 38" would mean your Venus is in 10 degrees of Sagittarius, at 30 minutes and 38 seconds.
Choose the "Love, Flirtation, and Sex" short report. This will give you your ascendant, and tell you your sun, moon, Venus and Mars signs and their placements, along with a description of what they mean.
