How to Calculate When Uranus Enters Aries

Uranus is known as a generational planet in astrology because, with an 84-year orbit around the sun, it remains in each sign for approximately seven years. To calculate the dates for Uranus's entry into the sidereal sign of Aries, you need to know when it enters Aries, and add or subtract the time of its 84-year orbit from that date.

  Add 84 years and 14 days to this date. This is the exact orbital period in Earth days of Uranus. Adding this to Feb. 3, 1935, you'll find that the next period during which Uranus will be in Aries will begin exactly on Feb. 7, 2019. It will exit Aries and enter Taurus on March 3, 2025.

  Add 84 years and 14 days to Feb. 7, 2019, to obtain further periods during which Uranus will be in Aries. To obtain periods before 1935, subtract 84 years and 14 days from the date given above.
