FAA Code of Ethics

The Federation of Australian Astrologers is a non-profit organization created in 1971 to represent professionals dedicated to astrological research and education. The FAA operates under a code of ethics and aims to connect Australian astrologers with each other and others throughout the world.
  1. Code of Ethics

    • The FAA's code of ethics represents various aspects of the astrological profession including authenticity, client protection, confidentiality, professionalism, astrologer-client relationships, member relationships, predictive work and publicity. Membership in the FAA is contingent upon the member's willingness to abide by the organization's code of ethics.

    Confidentiality

    • Astrologers who are members of the FAA are bound under the organization's code of ethics to keep all contact with a client confidential. Exceptions to this ethic include if the confidentiality endangers another individual or is in violation of established laws.

    Authenticity

    • The FAA's code of ethics further requires members to accurately inform the public about astrology and, when acting in their astrological capacity, to conduct themselves in a manner that brings respect and integrity to the profession. If a member's behavior is brought into question, the organization's National Council becomes involved and investigates the situation.
