How to Be Compatible With Scorpio

Scorpio rules the sun from approximately October 23 to November 21. Scorpio is a feminine, fixed water sign. This means that Scorpio is receptive, magnetic, emotional, intuitive, passionate, sensitive and sometimes obsessive. They can be terrifically resistant to change. Scorpios are perfectors and finishers. They can easily cross the line into obsessive perfectionism.

  Engage your Scorpio's mind. This isn't hard to do, but you'll need confidence. And don't con them, you won't get away with it. If you don't know something, just say so.

  Don't let their reputation intimidate you. Most Scorpios are reluctant to sting, and will do anything to avoid it. If you've made them that angry, they'll be more upset than you are. Apologize and fix it.

  Encourage Scorpio to laugh. They usually have a great sense of humor, especially about themselves. You'll find their humor ranges from intellectual to slapstick, and they'll appreciate the Three Stooges as much as Tom Lehrer. If you don't know who Tom Lehrer is, ask your Scorpio.

  Don't let their intensity get to you. They are unable to be casual about anything, from breakfast to politics. They need to explore everything at every level, and if you encourage them, you'll hear about all of it. And they'll be amazed and charmed when you listen because most people don't want to hear it! Encourage Scorpios to hash out a conflict out loud. It's a lot easier on them than the mental and emotional stew they sometimes can get themselves into.
