A planisphere is a tool that helps you to calculate the position of stars, constellations and other objects in the night sky for a specific month, day and time of day for your region (latitude zone). Although you can quickly find this information online or download star charts to your computer or cell phone, many people prefer having a planisphere in-hand while stargazing. As a result, you should have no problem finding a planisphere through a local or online source.
