Adjust The Interpupillary Distance
Lift the binoculars up to your eyes.
Select an object in the distance and observe it with both eyes open.
Rotate the binoculars on the central hinge until the object appears as a single unblurred image in both eyes. This procedure corrects for the variance in distance between the pupils of the eyes among different individuals and aligns the eyepieces accordingly.
Adjust The Focus
Close your right eye and look at an object through the fixed left eyepiece with your left eye. Rotate the center focusing wheel to focus the object.
Close your left eye and look at the same object with the right eye through the right eyepiece, known as the diopter because it is adjustable. Rotate the ring of the diopter eyepiece to focus the object.
Look through both eyepieces with both eyes open. Subsequent focusing can be accomplished using the center focusing wheel alone.
Focus the zoom by zooming the binoculars to the highest power setting and using the above focusing method at that setting. Proper focus will be preserved at lower zoom settings.
Using The Tripod
Remove the cap covering the threaded tripod adapter on the bottom of the binoculars.
Thread the screw of the binocular adapter supplied with your tripod into the tripod adapter on the SkyMaster.
Mount the SkyMaster on the tripod, engaging the binocular adapter with the fitting on the tripod.
