How to Find My Bushnell Telescope Model Number

Bushnell manufactures a wide array of outdoor optical, imaging and other equipment for hunting, birding, astronomy, golf and spectator sports such as binoculars, spotting scopes, velocity speed guns, GPS units and telescopes. People use the model number on a Bushnell product for many reasons including registering the product and ordering accessories or replacement parts. Bushnell telescopes typically feature the model number on the front of the instruction manual, the original product packaging and on the telescope itself. As a result, finding your Bushnell telescope's model number requires little effort beyond looking in these three areas.

Instructions

    • 1

Pull out your instruction manual and check the entire front for a six-digit number beginning with the number "7." The number typically has a hyphen after the first two digits (for example, 78-8840) and/or the word "Model" in front of it.

    • 2

Check the original product packaging---front and back, sides and ends---for the model number. If you no longer have the original product packaging, skip this step.

    • 3

Pick up your telescope carefully and look under the base (if applicable) and underneath the main telescope tube for the six-digit model number.
