How to Get Rid of Stink Bugs With Bounty Dryer Sheets

Once a few stink bugs invade your home, it's hard to get them out. Before you know it, your problem of just a few stink bugs has become far worse. Before your problem reaches the level where you need an exterminator, try using Bounty dryer sheets as a repellent. The strong scent of the sheets irritates and deters stink bugs.

  Choose heavily scented Bounty dryer sheets. Dryer sheets with potent scents deter stink bugs more than ones with light scents.

  Rub down your window and door screens -- both inside and outside -- with Bounty dryer sheets. Use a new dryer sheet for each screen. Start at the top of each screen and work down to the bottom. Rub the dryer sheet on the frames and sills, as well. You want the screens and surrounding areas heavily scented.

  Fold a few dryer sheets into long rectangles. Tuck the rolled-up sheets along the screens of your windows.

  Add a few sheets to cabinets or place a few sheets in a cup. Put the cup on a counter near your door.
