How to Feed Fruit Flies

Fruit flies are small insects that typically eat spoiled fruit. Though the common pest found in the kitchen and near trashcans are winged insects, the type that are bred for feeding pets have no wings and are significantly easier for your reptile to catch. Fruit flies are an excellent treat for lizards and turtles, and the cost is greatly reduced if you raise them yourself. Feeding fruit flies is a simple process.
