How to Get the Ants Digging in AntWorks

The "Antworks" habitat device contains a solid gel base that is designed to have all the nutrients and supplements that ants need to thrive. Once you have either ordered your own ants or captured a few dozen of them from the yard you'll be able to introduce the ants to their new home. You'll need to poke a few holes in the gel to get the ants started, then they will be on their way to digging several new tunnels.

Instructions

    • 1

Use the tunnel starting tool that comes with the "Antworks" habitat to poke four holes in the gel. These will serve as starting points when you introduce the ants to the habitat.

    • 2

Place 15 to 20 ants into the "Antworks" habitat.

    • 3

Wait for up to three days for the ants to begin digging. It will take them a day or two to get acclimated to the gel and begin digging.
