Things You'll Need
Instructions
Draw a spider web on a piece of scrap lumber or wood board. Draw four intersecting lines. Start with two intersecting lines to form a cross. Draw two intersecting diagonal lines through the cross. Connect the intersecting lines at the center with a series of inverted arcs to form the web's center ray. Draw additional inverted arcs to create a net effect.
Apply glue to the spider web drawing. Working with a continuous spool of cotton thread, adhere the thread along the spider web drawing. Glue and adhere the cotton thread along each drawn line. Cut the thread and allow the glue to dry.
Make the spider by painting one small and one medium Styrofoam ball with black acrylic paint. After the paint dries, glue the balls together with craft glue. Cut eight equal pieces of black pipe cleaners. Apply a dab of craft glue to one end of each pipe cleaner and poke them into the medium Styrofoam ball for the legs. Glue the spider to the web with craft glue.
