Things You'll Need
Instructions
Act fast when the rain starts. Rain water often makes its way in to the ground quite quickly, and so you will want to be collecting soon after the rain starts.
Look for plants with broad leaves. Plant leaves often act as natural funnels for water, so the bigger the leaf, the more water you will be able to collect.
Shape a leaf saturated with water in to a funnel, and point the funnel in to your water bottle, or mouth if you do not have a water bottle.
Look for other leaves that are filling up with water. If the rain continues, you can come back to the first leaf after several minutes and it should contain some water again, and you can cycle through your leaves that you find in this way.
