Things You'll Need
Instructions
Talk to teachers to join your project. Since they have access to people in charge of managing your school, teachers are very useful members. Ask other students and school staff members to join your recycling committee, which should work to develop new educational strategies and ways to reach the rest of the community.
If your school doesn't have a recycling program, contact a company to provide recycling services. Local recycling centers offer different services. Most recycling companies offer collection services and have specific school recycling programs.
Place recycling bins at strategic points, such as the cafeteria. Place four containers, which could be four boxes, to collect paper, plastic, glass and cans. If your school doesn't have a recycling program, schedule trips with your friends to bring these boxes to local recycling companies or place them in recycling bins in your town.
Advertise with posters and through talks. White poster boards are easy to draw and write on. Whether your school has a recycling campaign or not, design campaigns that explain what could be recycled and the benefits of recycling.
