How to Set Up a Water Tent

Roughing it is part of the fun of camping, but with that said, being able to wash the filth from your body can make the camping experience more comfortable. Some camping areas have showers, but they are often less than private and can be a long way from your specific campsite. Water tents give you the comfort of being able to shower during a camping trip by giving you the privacy one needs during such a private moment.

Instructions

Find a flat, level area to pitch the tent. Remove any brush and large debris from the area. Unroll the tent and lay out the poles.

    • 2

Assemble the four alloy poles. Thread the fiberglass pole through one of the pole sleeves on top of the tent. Insert the pin at the base of the tent into the pole.

    • 3

Fit the other end of the fiberglass pole into the end of an alloy pole, then clip the pole to the tent with a pole clip that's attached to the tent. Insert the pin at the base of the tent into the pole. Repeat for the other poles.

Pull the corners of the tent into form so all four corners take shape. Fit the roof fly if needed. Pull the rest of the tent into form holding it in place with pegs. Clip the floor in place and attach the toiletries bag.
