How to Feed Tiger Snakes

Tiger snakes are generally just over 3-feet long and do not necessarily feature the distinctive bands that give the species its name. They are native to Australia and may sometimes be kept as pets. Feeding tiger snakes is a potentially dangerous activity. The snakes can be aggressive when intimidated, and their venom contains a potent neurotoxin, as well as myotoxins, coagulants and haemolysins. Suitable food for tiger snakes is easily obtainable from pet stores, butchers and supermarkets.
