The Water
Use unused bottled water to water your plants. You can pour the unused water straight from the bottle or set aside a watering can you can fill up throughout the week with unused water. Then, when your plants need it, water them with the watering can that you have been filling.
Pour unused clean bottled water into your pet's water dishes. Don't fill your pet's dishes with water that may have been sitting in a bottle in the hot sun. The plastic may have leached into the water making it unsuitable for pet water.
Boil the unused water on the stove and use it for washing dishes, for hand-washing clothes or washing your car. Wait until the water has cooled enough that you can handle before using.
