Magnets
Everyone can use magnets, and you can decorate you refrigerator easily with fall decor using acorns. Glue together a cluster of acorns and place magnet strip on the back. After the acorns and magnet strip on the back have dried, place the magnet on your fridge to hold important notes or fall pictures of you and your close family and friends.
Wreath
Make the outside of your home festive for fall by creating an acorn wreath to hang on the main entrance to your home. You can find polystyrene foam wreaths, which are used for floral arrangements, at local craft stores. Glue acorns around the wreath as well as other fall items you find around the yard, such as grapevines, leaves, Spanish moss and twigs to complete a wreath that represents the time of year and the outside weather.
Napkin Holders
For the holidays, add fall decorations to your dining-room table by creating acorn napkin rings. Use thin-gauged wire that easily bends; gather together three strands. Bend and twist the wire to look like tree branches and wrap each piece of wire with brown floral tape. Glue acorns to the ends of each piece of wire and after they are dry, place the wire around the napkins and bend to hold them in place.
Picture Frame
Don't place those fall photos of outdoors scenery in a photo album where others can't see their beauty. Buy some inexpensive cardboard picture frames from a local craft store and glue acorns around the frame. Add other embellishments to the frame that represent fall, such as leaves, Spanish moss, sticks and other outdoor elements that will add to the frame's personalized autumn look.
