How to Use the Hummingbird Piranhamax 170

The PiranhaMAX 170, made by the Humminbird Company, is a hand-held device that uses sonar technology to analyze the geographical features, depth and temperature of the ocean. The PiranhaMAX 170 uses Dual Beam sonar, which is sonar that operates using two simultaneous signals instead of one to create a clear picture of the ocean floor. Humminbird designed the PiranhaMAX 170 to help the amateur fisherman catch fish more quickly and efficiently.
