Mix the manure up before you put it into a biodigester. Bacteria in the manure breaks it down to produce methane gas.
Turn on the heat of the biodigester; turn the temperature to around 98 to 103 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep the manure in this range for processing.
Add soda water to speed up the breakdown. This is particularly helpful when the manure's nitrogen levels are high, which usually occurs when the manure is dry. Add enough to make it as moist as fresh manure. The methane will rise to the top of your biodigester. The biodigester will collect it.
