Inspect the different angles from underneath a tree. Straight tree branches can cross each other, forming the letter "Z." Find a tree that has fewer leaves so that the branches are barer and more prominent.
Photograph a praying mantis. When extended, their spiked forelegs can appear as Zs. Although this is an inventive technique, it may require some patience as you wait for the insect to appear.
Inspect a spider web. The lines in a spider web are situated in sections. Two sections can line up at a certain angle to create a Z. Begin by inspecting the top, right areas of the web for the best angles, moving around the web to find other good, clear shots.
Look down at the grass. Individual blades of grass may have been pressed downwards, creating a Z formation. Inspect longer blades of grass, because their additional weight might have helped them to naturally form the letter.
