How to Make Snow Balls

Snowballs are a fun result that can come out of a fresh winter's snowfall. Snowballs can make for a variety of games, such as strategic-planning games of snowball wars and throwing at a target and seeing who hits the bull's-eye. Snowballs are also used to start a snowman.   Scoop up a chunk of snow in your ice cream scooper, and press down on the handle to smooth it into a ball shape. Place the ball in your hand and gently compress it between your hands.

  Place your small snowball on the ground and begin gently rolling it over the snow with your hand for a minute. As it rolls it will pick up more snow, growing bigger and bigger.

  Take your snowball and gently pack it once more in between your hands, then repeat the previous steps. Continue these steps until the snowball is to the size of your liking.
