Garlic
The general consensus of this field suggests that garlic is the best natural antioxidant in existence. There is little it does not do to cleanse the blood of pathogens of all types. It cleanses the body of all harmful bacteria and acts a bit like penicillin in the body. In addition to its cleansing effects on the system, it also builds up immunity to further infection. It also can be used to treat minor infections of the nose and throat.
Cassia Italica
This tree grows mostly in Pakistan and has long been used to treat problem skin, somewhat akin to aloe vera. More recently, it has been shown to be a natural antibiotic, used most often to treat stomach ailments. Its leaves are thought to spur the natural defenses in the stomach area to greater action against infection. In addition, like almost all trees, its bark and roots contain tannins, a naturally occurring substance that can be effective against E. coli and many other infections.
Green tea
Green teas such as from the leaf of the oolong plant have long been used for medical purposes. Tea can be used against many kinds of infections, since it provokes the body to produce more of its own antimicrobial defenses. In general, most green teas can be used to prevent infection. In 2008, a study in Egypt found that green teas can be effective against what are called "superbugs," or types of infection that are resistant to conventional antibiotics.
Cranberries
Extracts from the cranberry have been used for a long time to fight infections of the kidneys and the urinary tract more generally. In general, it acts by preventing harmful microbes from attaching themselves to the cells of kidneys. In fact, the cranberry extract creates an energy barrier that prevents any contact between healthy kidney cells and pathogens.
Grapefruit Seed Extract
This extract is highly effective against seriously harmful bacteria such as salmonella and staph infections. It is a great all around disinfectant. Extract from the grape seed can also be used.
