How to Do Numerology

Numerology takes the premise that you can break down your own personality based on simple numbers in your life. Once you discover those numbers, you can look up what those numbers mean and learn more about yourself or another person based on these findings. Unlike fortune telling, numerology doesn't aim to predict. Do a numerology reading and find out how fascinating it really is.

  Visit a numerology website or purchase a book on numerology. Learn your basic number combinations and how to get your own readings.

  Provide your birth date and break this number down to it's basic form. For example, January 30,1954 would break down as follows: January= 1, 30=3+0=3,
  1954=1+9+5+4=19=1+9=10=1+0=1, total=1+3+1=5. So, the life path number would be 5 for a person with the birth date of January 30,1954.

  Look up the life plan number that you arrive at for your birthday. The reading tells you your personality traits and other information about how you think and relate to the world. This is not fortune telling; it's just an assessment of your present personality.

  Use other information about yourself such as your name or birthplace to obtain even more information. Break down the information by using the number assigned to each letter of the alphabet.

  Learn more advanced techniques of numerology reading such as "realization," "heart's desire" and "personality" to reveal more in depth aspects of your personality and explain why you do what you do, not predict what you will do as in fortune telling.
