How to Determine Numerology Compatibility
Begin by finding your own personal numbers based on your birth date and the numerology of your name. Use an online or print reference, such as Astrology-Numerology.com, to learn the formula for reducing full numbers to their core (see Resources below).
Determine the personal numbers or other energetic numbers (such as a street address) of people, places or activities you wish to consider for compatibility with yourself. Consult a numerology chart for decoding name numbers.
Follow this general guide regarding core (reduced) numbers. "Like" numbers, such as odd with odd and even with even, are usually harmonious with each other. Opposites, i.e., odd and even, may signal a difficult relationship or even outright conflict.
Determine the compatibility of same numbers, such as 2 and 2, by getting their characteristics from a numerology source and noting that these traits will be heightened when brought together.
Apply your findings, with the help of a resource, such as a book, to your existing personal relationships and to choices that will determine your future (see Resources below). Numerology can help you make decisions regarding new careers or living situations that will harmonize with the other aspects of your life.
Know the exceptions and seek them out. The number 1 generally interacts harmoniously with any numbers. The number 7 is fickle and can result in positive or negative compatibility.
