How to Use Love Quartz

There are quite a few gemstones that could be considered to have properties that would aid the search for love, such as; rose quartz, emerald, moonstone, lapis lazuli and jade. Rose quartz is the most common gemstone used for this purpose and could be called the "love quartz." Gemstones are used not to help you find a mate but to place in you in a healthy state of mind that will allow you to find the love that you are seeking. Quartz crystal energy is used to "open the heart" and there are techniques that will help you to do this using this stone.

Program Your Crystal

  Hold the rose quartz crystal in your hands and stare at it. Empty your mind of all other thoughts and just concentrate on the crystal.

  Take slow deep breaths, inhale through your nose and then exhale through your mouth. After a couple of minutes, start exhaling through your mouth more forcefully.

  Concentrate on what you want the crystal to do. If you want more love in your life, concentrate on this intention. Imagine how love makes you feel and fill the crystal with good strong thoughts.

  Inhale again and see a visual image of what you really want. Remember how it feels and then repeat an affirmation. An affirmation could be something like "Open my heart and allow love in," "The past is over, I am strong now," or "I am ready for love and all that it can offer me."

  Exhale and imagine all your thoughts and desires entering the crystal and filling it with energy. When you feel that you have programmed your crystal with clear intention, it is ready for use.

  Wear the crystal everyday as part of a necklace or bracelet. Place the crystal under your pillow or just keep it in your bag so that it is with you always. The crystal should now emit the right energies that will aid you in your search for love.
